Ang I could nerd out with you on this for hours! When I worked as a lifestorian it was all about capturing the treasured stories - oral histories of loved ones for current and future generations to enjoy. There is something so special and intimate about hearing the voice behind these stories. One of my favourite quotes is an African proverb ‘Every time some dies, a library burns’. Powerful. Truth. 🫶🏻✨

Beautiful Ang and so true. Mum really misses Dad and she often says one of the hardest things is there’s no one that shares her memories. Some quaint French village will pop up on TV or in one of her ABC British shows. It will be somewhere she visited with Dad and she’ll realise there’s no one left that she can walk down that memory lane with anymore!
